Originally from Montreal, Jocelyn now lives and works in Vancouver. She received her Bachelor Degree in both Interior Design and Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba and graduated with an MFA in printmaking from Lousiana State University. Jocelyn has received many awards and honours for her lithographic prints, including a major Canada Council grant, Manitoba Arts Council Awards, as well as scholarships from The Banff Centre. Her work has been presented at many exhibitions and has been purchased by corporate and private collections throughout North America, Bermuda, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Jocelyn references elements from the world of “paysage” and botany. She is particularly interested in the universal language of flowers, which stand as icons for beauty and purity, suggesting a sense of calm and serenity. In her work, Jocelyn shows her genuine love for carefully drawn images on stone, her ability to focus on details, and her courage to let the brush wander in its own authentic language. The merging of these skills and sensibilities result in her visibly unique signature.
