A book of text collage made using ChatGPT’s output along with an essay on the misuse of generative AI in high education. The collage is made of student submissions I had graded in university that had used ChatGPT, which I selectively highlight two phrases that are oversaturated in the Fine Art Department: “delve” and “shed light”. The submissions are heavily edited to keep the context anonymous and arranged into a nonsense text poem. With the constantly repeated phrases, the text does not convey actual meaningful content but rather to represent the reading experience of being a teaching assistant who has to read a lot of GPT submissions in the academic year.
