Gareth Moore collaborated with printmaker Tyler Cannon to create a stack of prints on paper from a lithographic stone that Moore found in a Vancouver Island antique store. The prints were on display at the Nanaimo Art Gallery for the exhibition Silva, Part I: O Horizon in the fall of 2015.

Gareth Moore is a Canadian artist based in Vancouver. His practice incorporates thoughtful sculptural responses to both specific places, and to people who attempt to translate the natural world through art and language. Moore’s artwork is an enigmatic blend of exploration and pilgrimage, magic and myth, experience and document, fact and fiction. Moore is a graduate of the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. He is represented by Catriona Jeffries Gallery in Vancouver.

Tyler Cannon’s current work revolves around his ongoing narrative project called Singleton’s Epic. Cannon creates characters, bodies and systems within his other world which interact and live within a strange psychological economy or ecosystem. The central character of the narrative are the singletons, strange human like figures who loaf around the environment focused mainly on hedonistic pleasures. Thematically these images orient around imaging states of the Singletons, enmeshed within their machine world as productive cogs, complicit, victims and rowdy fools.
