Neil Wedman worked with Malaspina printmaker Matt Parisien to create an edition of screen prints on canvas. He is a full-time artist with a 30 year studio practice. Painting stands at the core of his work but he has devoted equal attention to drawings and works on paper including print editions, book-works and photographs. He occasionally makes short films such as Forget Me (2000), Kane Titanic (2005) and White Album, White Zombie (2010-12). In January 2012 his exhibition Selected Monochromatic Paintings and Works on Paper Part One opened at the Equinox Gallery in Vancouver. Part Two opens at the Charles H. Scott at ECUAD in Jauary 2013. Neil Wedman lives and works in Vancouver where he was born and teaches at Emily Carr University and Simon Fraser University.
