Grahame Arnould’s large digital prints orchestrate line and colour into shapes that abstract the perception of space. His ongoing series, Op-tickle Illusions, is part of his fascination with optical illusions and the infinitive capacity in line and colour exploration.

Doodling during his time at Queen’s University while working towards a degree in economics, Arnould graduated and went on to work for The New Yorker, writing gags for a cartoonist. His interest in cartooning led to positions as an illustrator and advertising copywriter. He went on to win numerous awards in Canada, USA, Austria and Germany. Since 1992 he’s been with the The Georgia Straight newspaper as their editorial cartoonist.
