“I am a biologist by day and artist by night. I look to the everyday elements of our urban environment for inspiration. I enjoy the challenge of observation and the process of documentation and transformation into a new creation. Because reality is so varied and surprising, there is lots of room for imaginative interpretation.”
Nadia Baker is a biologist and artist. Based in Vancouver, she graduated from the University of British Columbia with B.Sc. Honours in Environmental Sciences in 2000.
