Malaspina Printmakers is dedicated to advancing and preserving printmaking through educational programming. The goals of our educational programming include:

• Making Malaspina facilities and activities accessible to the public
• Assisting individuals in developing their knowledge and expertise in printmaking
• Increasing knowledge of printmaking, it’s history and development
• Facilitating dialogue and research in contemporary print culture

Malaspina Printmakers ensures that its educational programming articulates the artistic mandate of the Centre by engaging highly knowledgeable instructors and facilitators, and other cultural practioners on the cutting-edge of print culture and with extensive knowledge of print mediums. These programs educate the general public about fine art printmaking in addition to aiding practicing artists, students and print enthusiasts in staying current and informed about topics in printmaking.
