Since expanding the gallery in 2003, Malaspina has developed a dynamic curated exhibitions program that includes prints and installations by local, national and international artists.
 
Our exhibitions are an integral component in fulfilling our mandate. We are dedicated to presenting contemporary artworks that reveal new directions in print culture. Artists whose works are presented within the curated exhibitions program receive an artist fee at industry standards.
 
Submissions from artists are accepted on an ongoing basis. If you are an artist and would like your work to be considered for the curated exhibition program, please email the following attachments to info(at)malaspinaprintmakers.com:
  • exhibition proposal (optional max 400 word pdf)
  • artist bio in third-person (max 400 word pdf)
  • selected curriculum vitae (max 800 word pdf)
  • documentation of print-based artworks (max ten 1200 x 1200 pixel jpgs)
  • description of artworks (max 800 word pdf with the following descriptions, if applicable: title, year, media, paper, edition, height in cms, width in cms, length in cms, other notes)
Inside the gallery, we also have an inventory of over 1000 prints that are for sale year round. In between curated exhibitions, a rotating selection of prints from the print sales program are displayed on our gallery walls. The purpose of the print sales program is to raise funds for the curated exhibitions program.
