how to access our facilitiesAll levels of experience are welcome in the studio and there are many ways to take advantage of Malaspina Printmakers quality facilities. Courses and WorkshopsThe best way to learn about the studio and the range of mediums facilitated at Malaspina Printmakers is to take one of the Centre’s many courses or workshops. MentorshipThe Mentorship Program is designed for individuals who have spent some time in the Malaspina studio through courses and workshops or who have completed some studio in another organization or institution. Participants in this program work one-on-one with an experienced printmaker to learn about the operations of the studio and to hone their knowledge in a selected medium. Open StudioFor individuals that would like some extra time on a project, Open Studio gives past course participants or individuals requiring a short amount of time in the studio the opportunity to access the facilities. Open Studio participants are required to:
24 hour AccessTo become a keyholder (studio renter), an artist must have sufficient technical knowledge to work in the studio independently and safely.
