Winter Print Festival

Malaspina Printmakers is pleased to present the 2008 Winter Print Festival.  This dynamic display of original prints is a celebration of the wide variety of work made by artists that are Members of Malaspina Printmakers.  This salon-style presentation features a diverse range of print mediums and is constantly evolving as works are rotated into the exhibit.

 

The Opening Event for the Winter Print Festival will be held on Thursday, November 27 at Malaspina Printmakers from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Everyone in the community is invited to be the first to select work from the Print Festival this holiday season!  Visitors can also participate in the silent auction of festive gift baskets, enjoy a selection of holiday beverages and confections, and meet many of the artists featured in the exhibit.

 

Anyone in the community can become a member of Vancouver’s only artist-run centre dedicated to Print Culture and enjoy a discount on print purchases that evening!  For one night only, Members will receive a 10% discount on all prints featured in the Winter Print Festival or from the consignment portfolio.  A portion of the proceeds from print sales help to support educational programming at the Centre including Student Scholarships, Research Residencies and Visiting Artist Residencies.
